Summer Opening Fablab Brussels

The lab will be open over the summer (July, August & September), but only for students, researchers and personnel of the VUB. Due to the Coronavirus, it will be a bit different than previous years.

Acces to the lab

• The lab is open every Thursday and Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
• You have to reserve a spot before you come (at least one week up front) by sending an email to fablab@vub.be.
• The different machines/work areas are available in block of 2 hours. You can book a maximum of 2 blocks (4 hours) per day depending on how many people need access.

Safety Precautions

• In order to keep an eye on the amount of people in the lab and building, the front door will be closed. If you want to enter, you need to call 02.614.82.67 or Lieven’s of Jonas’ cellphone.
• It is mandatory to wear a face mask for as long as you are in the lab.
• Upon arrival, you first wash your hands
• 15 minutes before the end of your time slot, you start cleaning all of the areas you touched and the machine you worked on. Desinfectant and paper will be available.
• Avoid close contact with other people as much as possible. There is a circulation plan which indicates how to move through the lab. Please follow these directives.
