Covid: Opening hours
The opening hours will vary from month to month since student projects and courses take place and the schedule continuously changes. Therefore, check the opening hours regularly.
March
Visitors
Due to COVID we currently only give introductions to the lasercutter and 3D printers. We removed all common tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, cutters etc due to COVID-19. Please bring your own.
Disinfectant alcohol is available in the lab.
Visitors are welcome only on following Wednesdays: 03/03/2021, 10/03/2021 and 17/03/2021
The other Wednesdays are not accessible since there are courses planned the entire day and the lab is at maximum capacity.
Students
Students of the Engineering Technology (INDI) education can come to the lab on all open days except during project weeks.
In weeks 28 and 29, the lab and all of its adjacent rooms/workplaces are closed due to the Design Project of 2BA IW. Should you wish to pass by for something, you first send an email to fablab@vub.be to see what is possible with the current COVID-19 rules. You do not just pass by without an appointment!
Students of other departments can come on Wednesdays only when open.
